Whether you spend minutes or hours carving your Halloween pumpkins, don’t let your hard work turn to mush! This year, try our top tip for preserving your creations.
After carving, put your finished pumpkin and its lid in a bucket or garbage bag. Then pour 1/2 to 1/3 cup of bleach and fill with enough water to cover the pumpkin.
Place in a well ventilated area and let is sit for 24 hours. After it has soaked, take your pumpkin out of the solution and set it outside to dry.
Then it’s all ready for Halloween fun!
