Perennials are an excellent choice for color that does not have to be planted year after year. When selecting perennials take into consideration the amount of sunlight the area receives as well as the amount of space you have for planting. No perennial will flower all season long, so selecting plants that flower at different times will give you color all season long rather than just for a short amount of time. If watering the plants is an issue, selecting plants like sedum and other drought tolerant plants may be something to consider. Also take into consideration the height and spread of the plants you are selecting as not to purchase plants that are all the same size. If you are still stuck on which plants you need, come and see us we would be happy to help you select the perfect perennial garden!
